Digital Leisure and Displaced populations in Brazil (2020-2022)
The UNHCR work plan 2021 in the Innovation Services Division is based on the Next Billion Users book. They provide funding for field research to conduct an experimental ‘how to be an influencer’ workshop among displaced populations in Brazil to unpack everyday use of how digital leisure and how that translates to their well-being, sociality, health, romance, and potential livelihood opportunities.

Feminist Approaches to Labour Collectives (2019-2023)
This is a seed funded initiative by International Development Research Center (IDRC) in Canada that explores how women workers in India and Bangladesh organize themselves using digital platforms to optimize their livelihood, share grievances and communicate directly to the top of the global supply chain, shaping the future of work and inclusive design.
